Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines chooses GEMS

Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines (LTTP), an aviation maintenance school based in Manila, is the latest Aviation Maintenance Training Organization to choose ASTech’s GEMS (General Examination Management System) as the organization’s examination management system to facilitate and optimize the generation of exams for maintenance engineers.

Jochen Harms, General Manager at Lufthansa Technical Training, Philippines comments:

“By using ASTech’s comprehensive exam management system, GEMS, we can easily manage the daily task of generating EASA Part-66 exams. GEMS’ compliance to EASA standards further supports us in our aim and commitment to provide our students with world-class training in any required field.”

LTTP will be using GEMS for the full range of training courses offered at the training school; these include EASA CAT A, B1, B2 approved basic training courses, aircraft type training courses for Airbus and Boeing, and specialized training courses such as Fuel Tank Safety, Ground Handling or Cabin Maintenance. The related GEMS applications covering the specific requirements are GEMS Basic, GEMS Type and GEMS Fundamentals.

Over a number of years, ASTech has cooperated closely with LTTP's German parent company Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT).
